New species for garden list 29th December

A male Reed Bunting this afternoon was a new species for Moor End Gardens.
Pete Grba has reported a Willow Tit at EGP sometime last week and Darrel flushed a Long-eared Owl at the back of High Royd sometime last week.

Anybody getting Siskin on their feeders? we have a regular flock of up to 10 or so but this is the first year they've been seen regularly.

No siskins as yet, although I did get a couple last winter. All I've got is blue, great and coal tits, gs woddpecker, chaffinch and dozens and dozens of greenfinch.

Have just passed Nyjer seed on to Sean, he intends to set up a feeding station at Elland GP, hopefully to maintain/increase Yellowhammer numbers amongst other species.
