Hardcastle Crags, car park to Gibson Mill. 2pm

1 male pied flycatcher (opposite the bench on the crest of the lane, 300m from car park
1 wood warbler (50m up towards Crimsworth Dean from the lower car park)
4 spotted flycatcher
9 goldcrest
1 GSwoodpecker
I didn't get as far as the clearing or the bulk of the nestboxes, so I don;t know if the redstart is still there or the boxes are being used.

Did you walk down the main road to the Mill??

An early morning walk may produce even better results.

Andy H - yes, it's the 'main' Gibson Mill lane. I'm pretty sure a walk past the mill up to the area where the lane forks would be productive too. There's quite a few nestboxes placed by the fork about 60m. into the woods on the right, so pied fly might well be displaying near these for the next week or so.
