Ogden/Fly Flats/Luddenden Dean

Had a good look at Ogden again - no migrant raptors! but the wind seemed to be from the north today. Just a Sparrowhawk there and small passerines on the edge of the wood including a family group of at least 4 Spotted Flycatchers, Great-spotted Woodpecker, Reed Bunting and several willow/chiff's. 3 Tufted Duck on the res.

6 Kestrels on Ovenden moor and a Peregrine over Fly Flats and a female Merlin went through.

1 Wheatear on High Brown Knoll and a Raven going east, high over Luddenden Dean. Also Little Owl near the lower lodge.

At Wainstalls, in the fields near Bridge Terrace there were c30 Linnets on thistle heads and still lots of Swallows and House Martins about.
