If you haven't seen the diver yet I suggest you do before it goes, its a real star, very tame even coming ashore for a time.Its now been here 4 days and in that time only one person as actually seen it dive. Most of the time it puts its head under the surface in the shallows. Thanks to DJP for the lift. Posted by Picasa

This is only the seventh record for Calderdale and the first since 2 at Ringstone Edge on 2nd May 1996.
The others were 1 at Greetland 4th Feb 63, 1 whiteholme 7 may 66, 1 at EGP 22 dec - 2 jan 75, 1 at gorple 14 oct 84, 1 at ogden 13th dec 92.

I saw it dive two or three times yesterday, but it didn't catch anything to my knowledge
