Nutclough wood Hebden Bridge

My first visit to Nutclough wood today in search of the reported Kingfisher, it didn't put in an appearence but several other species did, 9 pairs of Mallard (displaying - although not whole heartedly), pair Dipper, pair Grey Wagtail, Nuthatch, Robin, Wren, several Blue and Great tits, single Coal tit. Surprisingly no Chaffinch.

I run up on the local moors produced no more than several pheasant.
