DJP report is interesting as a Huddersfield Birder who I bumped into on 15th Feb at EGP heard a Lesser Spotted drumming in Reins Wood and then as I walked along the river opposite the electricity pylon located in the wood I presumably heard the same bird drumming again. I scanned the area for a good 20 minutes but did not get a sighting.

Forgot to mention at least 2 Skylarks passing high over Midgley today also.
