'In-house' list

You've heard of the patch list, and garden list, well how about the 'in-house' list.

Mine stands at two - a jackdaw down the chimney last year, and a starling in my attic this morning. I knew I had some holes in the roof, but I didn't know they were starling sized.

My in house list was also 2 at the address I moved from 5 weeks back. I collected about 6 Starling from the chimney bottom, which used to whizz around the living room before zooming out of the open front door. The other one was a Magpie (not a Norwegian Blue) which although appeared to be restin' was actually deceased.

My Grandma called me a couple of years ago and said she had a large bird in her chimmney and could i come round and remove it asap. When i got there was a Tawny Owl sat on her mantlepiece. It was a real job to catch it.When i did it was a great to see it fly off to the nearby wood.
