Just out of interest

Fly Flatts produced 13 species of wader for me during 2006.
Not that its a good place for waders but through going every Sunday morning to put down the Twite seed these are the waders I saw :-
Curlew Greenshank
Lapwing Green Sandpiper
Snipe Turnstone
Golden Plover LR Plover
Common Sandpiper Knot
Oystercatcher Dunlin
Redshank
Also some of the better birds were, Tree Pipit, Ring Ouzel,
Common Tern and Red Kite.
So when Im up there in the fog and gales with no birds in sight
I can think of this list and say, stick at it brian lad. BS

You deserve every one of those good birds Brian, rewards for a true "local patcher"
