Lee Mount

2 fantastic Peregrines chasing each other and calling over Lee Mount this afternoon at 4.45 pm. Amazing site. Both birds were the same size probably males - perhaps defending territories? Both went realy high then headed off at speed, still calling, in the direction of Halifax town centre.

Also 3 Lesser black-backed gulls went over around the same time and a single House Martin headed NW. Also Blackcap and Willow Warbler in Shroggs Park and Great-spottted Woodpecker drumming - quite an afternoon from the garden!
