Nowhere to paddle for this Common Sandpiper
1 Juv Reed Bunting survived the rains.

1pr Reed Bunt with 1 young
3pr Common Sand, no sign of chicks and nest sites under water.

Good search for Twite in area and surrounding moor found none.

After several searches of sectons of Midgley moor I too have come up with no twite, how's everyone else getting on?

Negative from Baitings - the only record in three trips was 5/6 birds at Flints (a repeat of Sean's earlier sighting).

I belive Nick Dawtrey has had birds at Flints also, as has Steve Blacksmith who is covering this area for the survey, at least somewhere seems to have them!
