Poor weather this afternoon in the drizzle but managed to binscope one of 2 Whinchats. 4 Stonechats there along with c25 Meadow Pipits and 6 Linnets. Also near the old railway cabins 23 Twite feeding again on Ragwort but not able to see if any were ringed.

I hate to be pedantic but shouldn't that be digibinned instead of binscoped :-)
Anyway, what a great blog this is. Having birded Calderdale for many years it's great to hear and see what's around, some wonderful pics as well- long may it continue.
