ring ouzel!!!!!!!

i just think i saw 2 of them on the pilons above my house. they were big thrushes but couldnt get those bins out in time to have a good look. they flew like thrushes and had a call like a laser gun, which i know is an element in a ring ouzels call. do you think it could be????

Did you rule out Fieldfare,they are about at the moment.?

Its possible Dishfish, Brian Sumner did have one at Fly Flatts today but bear in mind Mistle Thrush which is a big thrush with a very rattly call (not quite sure what a laser gun sounds like!)

i looked at feilfare and mistle thrush call but neither seem to have the "laser gun" sound that i haerd. but i read that ring ouzels are smaller than blackbirds and this was alot bigger so am stumped
