Halifax Town Centre

Pair of Blackbirds with 3 young just out of the nest this morning in Woolshops underground car park. One young bird was having a torrid time, with the female in close attendance, as cars came into the car park. the other two fledglings were on a steel girder adjacent to the nest and being fed by the male.

Hi David,
I can fill a BTO nest record card in for you if you're sure of the date of fledgeing.
The other details needed are:
at least one prior visit record
(Time, date, adults activity)
situation of nest e.g. in a shrub,
height above ground, 6-figure map ref. ( I can work this out if you explain location of nest.)
Otherwise, as you are probably well aware, Blackbirds can have more broods in same nest in same year.
