Walshaw Dean - 9:30

Lots of types of birds around, but nothing too out of the ordinary

Plantation - 25+ goldfinches, siskin calling, 1 stonechat, 2 song thrush, coal tit, pheasant, 2 kestrel, 8 wood pigeons, 1 stock dove, sparrowhawk over being mobbed by raven.
Lower Walshaw area- Lots of work being done. 6 mallard, golden plover calling from moors, 1 kestrel, 30+ meadow pipits, 5 skylark, 30 canada geese. Oystercatcher heard. 16 curlew.
Middle and Upper Washaw - Another 40 or more canada geese, another 6 curlew, blackbird and grey heron at top res'. Kestrel over moor.
