Winter thrushes - Jumble Hole / Badger Lane area

I was only out for just over an hour this morning, but large movement of thrushes. Some redwing were in bushes feeding, but most were streaming past in flocks from 3 to 120. All seemed to be coming from the direction of the Crimsworth Dean valley, passing over Heptenstall and heading for Todmorden.

- 800+ redwing
- 90 fieldfare (one group of 5, one of 85)
- 1 goldcrest
- 1 kestrel
- 1 raven
- 3 jay

The strange thing about the fieldfare was they were almost entirely silent. Also, they seemed to head NW as opposed to the redwings due W
