Quick walk along the canal and cycle trail to Luddenden Foot turned up:

50+ canada geese
1 sparrowhawk
40 black-headed gull and a couple of common gull on the flooded school playing fields
6 mallard
1 goldcrest
5 robins
3 mistle thrush
assorted tits and corvids
1 female goosander that landed on the canal before spotting I was there and taking off again heading W.
