Andy has got back to me, virtually all their twite have been passing through on vis mig watches, the 88 was a modern day record but all fly throughs.

received from Dave Sowter today

Hi David,

I was doing a bird survey at the Welwick realignment site on the Humber Estuary on Friday 6th November and counted a record number of 75 Twite. The largest number I have seen since I started the survey in 2002.

One of the bird had colour rings. I have read it as:

Three colour seen on left leg - Red Above White Above Pink.

Bird ringed at Deer Hill this summer
