Any ideas on ID this duck on Ski Lake at 1200 today. Very dark and misty and this is the best I could do.Very white front,dark head and pronouced white feathers on wing,it was too dark to pick out any more colours with bins.

It's a female Goldeneye
female Goldeneye - misty conditions play havoc with bird i.d.!
Misty conditions also play havoc with size of birds - particularly raptors/gulls in flight!
