Accurate Reporting
We have been following the thread about the "shot heron" was it one or two. You may find it interesting to look at the blog for Lancaster & District Birdwatching Society Sightings re Wenning / Lune Rivers. What was originally reported as a young otter which had been shot turned out to be a mink which had been attacked by a dog. Accurate information is vital.

I saw one dead heron yesterday floating in lagoon 1, it looked like it had been there a while.I aint got a problem with people shooting non native species in fact there should be a reward for mink and grey squirrels.
