Heads Up For Harpies

This is a must see, especially for anyone with an interest in cameras on raptor nests

The Natural World programme, "The monkey-eating eagle of the Orinoco", will be broadcast on BBC2 in the UK at 1900 BST on Thursday, 8 July 2010

Ta for the prompt, Steve.
Got myself round to my beloved's to see it (having no telly myself,) missed the first 20 minutes, but it went on plenty long enough. Great shots of the eagles and all the other birds, but groan! so anthropomorphic in the commentary. Obviously the adults are not going to kill the monkeys close to the nest, their nurturing instinct being automatically switched on, killing switched off. Just wish the BBC could put on some scientific programmes about the natural world sometime. (David Attenborough does it right.)
