Great twite count Tim, many left with colour rings?

Fantastic count that Tim. I even got 9 at Fly Flats this afternoon -and just when we were going to give up putting Niger seed down! It's been very poor for Twite there this summer, never known it so bad.

We have had a problem at Fly in that Canadas/Mallard and Sheep have been taking the seed - perhaps you don't have that problem up there?

This is the highest number of Twite in a single location I've heard of in recent years Tim. Just great news.

Quite a lot with colour rings Nick. Some Nick's, some Sean's from previous years.

Sheep, Rabbits, Corvids all help themselves. Twelve bore required!

Prospecting Kestrel seen off by Peg up there this am. Lucky Twite having Pegs for guardians!
