Waxwings

There were 10 waxwings on one of four small trees to the left of the main entrance (at the side of the main road) of Gordon Rigg's at 1300 hrs today. When we returned at 1500 hrs they'd gone - possibly back to Cranberry Avenue?

I usually give Rigg's a wide berth at weekend becuase it's so busy, but I'd happily make an exception to catch the Waxwings there.

7 of the Walsden waxwings were in a large tree opp our window in Ramsden Wood Road this afternoon. They moved from that tree to a smaller berry tree which was even nearer. If you want to give me a contact number (don't know how that is done on the Forum) I'll phone you when they're nearby, Jeff.
