Fly Flatts/Cold Edge Dams

A pair of Shoveler flew out of the mist this a.m. at Fly Flatts and headed off >SE. Due to the height of the birds its unlikely that they came off the water.
A single LRP was again at Cold Edge but was flushed by dogs on the shoreline and flew in the direction of Oxenhope.
A cracking male Wheatear showed briefly near the boathouse, probably DJSs from the other day. None present at Fly and just 2 unringed Twite.

Well done Brian. Looks like everyone is getting Wheatear now except me! I've had texts today from 3 people who've all had Wheatear. Send a few down my end of the Calder Valley will you please!

Good record with the Shoveler Bri -not an easy annual tick in Calderdale. Good to pick up a Wheatear as well. Looks like the LRP is well gone as no sign of it this afternoon.
