I went up to Langfield and West Scout today looking for Wheatear but turned up nothing but a single Mipit. The area was eerily quiet. Worrying.

38 Curlew - a fab number Dave. Think I'll wander up there over the weekend.

The area just beyond Grain Water Bridge is often good for early Wheatear and in past years I used to clock early Ring Ouzel there too (though not in recent years).
