Waxwings in Rastrick

About 40 waxwings this afternoon catching flies over Rastrick High School. Difficult to assess numbers as they were constantly flitting about, great to watch so many actively feeding like this in a relatively small area. Elsewhere 4 Teal on the pond at the bottom of Jay House Lane, at the top 4 Rooks on the feeders eating the tree sparrows millet. Often wondered how they emptied so fast!
