Hardcastle Crags and Crimsworth Dean





Some shots (digiscoped)of a juvenile Swallow recently out of the nest at Walshaw this morning

Lots of juv Blue, Great and Long-tailed Tits today along with 3 singing Goldcrests and several Treecreepers near the car park and a family group of Nuthatches in Crimsworth Dean.
3 pairs of Spotted Flycatchers but no Pied!
1 Kestrel was the only raptor
Plenty Swallows including fledged young at several farms near Walshaw and along Shackleton
2 Redpoll and 2 Siskin at Walshaw and 1 Redpoll at Shackleton
Siskin also over Crimsworth Dean
