Gamekeeper admits poisoning buzzards.

December 01, 2011 - A gamekeeper has admitted poisoning birds of prey
 at a farm in Biggar, South Lanarkshire. David Whitefield, 41, admitted poisoning
four buzzards (Buteo buteo) with chloralose baits at Coulter Allers
Farm between March and November 2009.

Long over due Bruce shame England isn't following suit, let's hope the petition does something to alter that.

Personally I think stiffer sentences are required as well, it will be interesting to see what this guy gets.

Sign the e-petition now and circulate to as many of your friends as possible. If any of my staff serve alcohol to under-age, I get fined and could lose my license. It's high time that Grouse moor owners were brought into the 21st century and made accountable for the actions of their keepers. Sadly the e-petition doesn't go as far as to demand driven Grouse Moors be licensed, but it's a start.
