Snow Bunting races

Watching the birds yesterday one stood out from the others as paler and a bit more gingery. Here's a montage of the four birds up there (I think!) and the bottom left looks very much like a bird Martin Garner put forward last week as a quiz, http://birdingfrontiers.com/2012/01/09/snow-bunting-in-sheffield/

Added a shot showing a bit of the rump of this bird

The photo below shows a dark rump I think, and this would indicate icelandic race but the Gardener video shows a gingery rump,,,dont know need to read a bit more.very interesting though...

The picture lower down on the site is of the bottom right bird. I'll have a look through all my snaps and see if there's a clear rump shot of this bird. Added the best one I've got for now.

Very interesting and well picked upon Jim. As for it's origin????????
why not send the pic we have or a link to our site to Martin for his thoughts on it? I'm sure he'll reply.
