At the CBCG meeting earlier this week there was some discussion about Swift nest boxes - try this site

They look good BUT check the prices!

Blimey Dave, they know how to charge!

This may be a better option;

It strikes me that they're all over-engineered and therefore overpriced. Why do they need inspection and cleaning facilities 'cos the real thing wouldn't be inspected or cleaned. So - people are nosey and want to climb up ladders to see if the brick/box is being used, therefore they cost more.

The basic brick is £35 but I'm sure they could make it cheaper.

Tell Knowles pots of the price they're charging - they might do a test run!

We needn't worry about the cost, the idea is that we will patition the council planning committee to make it regulation on all new build and renovation projects to include Swift nesting. This is already the case with some councils so why not Calderdale.
