Barkisland - Nr Bowers Mill
Kingfisher reported from yesterday on the mill pond
1 male Grey Wagtail
2 Great-spotted Woodpeckers making a racket! - probably pair bonding (or 2 males disputing terrritory?) but didn't get a clear view of them.
Rooks already nest building at the local colonies

I didn't get chance to get down there to check the res'r. We have had no reports of the Slavonian Grebe since Monday 4th February and was wondering if it could still be there? Has anyone had chance to check ?
