Grey Wagtails

A pair displaying on the low roof above KFC in the centre of Halifax this evening, we also have a pair at Calderdale Business Park in Ovenden does this signal a slight shift in behaviour or an expansion of usual habitat location away from running water?

Anyone else had them in built up areas?

Also seen them in Sainsbury's car park on wet mornings or as flyovers - probably commuting to avoid the culvert.
Yes Andy we get them as flyovers in Lee Mount especially in autumn and occasionally on flat roofs nearby, when its wet !!

There has been one at Queensbury
traffic lights on and off most of the winter and I have had them on the drive and around my house on occasions both at Northowram and in HX town centre.

We have some on the Red Beck in Hipperholme area. I've even seen them in the gardne at the base of the feeders!

We have some on the Red Beck but this is by running water. Still nice to see though.
