Nearly forgot !! - before I set off up Swales this afternoon a nice surprise with a bat flying to and fro along the tree line at the back of Shroggs Park. Probably a Pipistrelle (?) It was there for at least half an hour with plenty insects around in the shelter of the trees and I tried to get some photo's (not good enough for the blog) - they just don't stay still !!
