Mixenden Swans

Went over to Mixenden after church to check out the Whooper Swans, and all were still there and showing really well being very vocal too. At some points they came very close to the near bank where I was set up so managed to get some fantastic views of them.

Then went for a walk around the moorland areas to refresh myself with all the local sites. Stumbled across some really nice moorland birds, including Snipe, 2 Redshank, 2 Golden Plover, Little Owl and a solitary Fieldfare at Cold Edge.
