Cuckoos

2 still calling at jumble hole today along with: All the usual species, a juvenile grey wagtail, whitethroat, garden warbler, blackcaps, willow warblers, chiffchaffs, a kestrel, tawny owl heard but not seen, about 5 young robins, lots of wrens, 4 green woodpeckers, 3 jays.

A good count there Matthew and a good year for Cuckoos in our area at least.

Yes I've heard that numbers in east anglia have gone down massively this year. Maybe we've stolen some!!
