Ogden

We had a trip up there yesterday afternoon after a call from NK about a 'fall' of migrants at the top end of the plantation near the 'Giant's Tooth'. We found a similar number of birds still there and busily feeding on the numerous insects showing in the very warm sunshine.
12+ Spotted Flycatchers
3+ Redstarts (1 male and 2 females seen)
Several Willow Warblers and Chiff-chaffs
1 Goldcrest
c20 Chaffinch
It also coincided with more migrants at Scammonden with a great find by JB in among them as described below.
