Glaucous Gull at Cant Clough Res. 29.2.16

Cant Clough is just over the watershed from Upper Gorple.

The bird comes in about 4pm and roosts alone on an otherwise deserted reservoir.
It's been there a while, and is quite confiding.

It's quite a small individual, smaller than the average Lesser Black-backed, I estimate.

With thanks to Ian C. for the tip-off.

Never had a decent view of a glaucous. Here's hoping it lingers until weekend.
